Caring For Your Pekingese Dog

Pekingese dogs are special little characters and they need special care and attention too.

To keep its coat healthy and presentable means brushing your Pekingese daily and you will need to have it thoroughly groomed four to six times a year too.

Remember to brush its belly and between its front and hind legs too because this is where it is most likely to get dirty and dirt can be difficult to remove if left.

It is also important to remove any dirt from the eye pores every day and from the creases on the face to prevent any sores (or hotspots) developing.
